WELCOME TO GOODNA & DISTRICTS
The Goodna & Districts Gymnastics club Inc. was originally formed in 1978 in Goodna and moved to Redbank in the 80's.
The Club's early membership trained at the Oddfellows Hall at Goodna where the storage room was downstairs. While waiting for the Cadbury/Sri Lankan pavillion from Expo'88 to be moved and refurbished, the club enjoyed a short stay in the scout hall at Camira.
In 1989, the club moved into the Camira Community Centre. On the 6th of April 2019 we moved the club to it's new venue at 81b Kelliher Rd, Richlands. Volunteers have always served the club and 90% of its present staff are volunteers.
Our Mission statement is to develop friendly, active and responsible young people.
Our philosophy is to offer affordable training in gymnastics to all regardless of age, gender or physical ability.
We are currently a set up/pack up gymnastics hall. All apparatus is set up for each training session and packed away at the end.The club is run mainly by volunteers who coach, judge, serve on the committee, move equipment and perform tasks as required for the operation of the Gym. You are most welcome to approach a committee member to ask how you may lend assistance.
